I am a newbie here, and I am not a native speaker. Sorry for if I made any mistakes! :)

I bought a new external HDD, and it won't allow me to copy any large files or it will disconnect and re-connect automatically. It is a 3.0 Fujitsu. After some research, I found out something called 'UASP' and 'BOT' types, and my HDD is the 'UASP' type and won't be supported by my PC. It will only work in 2.0 mode.

Frustrated, I messed around and guess what? I accidentally uninstalled the "Intel USB 3.0 Extensible Host Controller"... Now it is worse. My other 'BOT' 3.0 HDD will not copy @ 3.0 speeds anymore. I have no idea how to install the driver back. Tried system restore to the earliest point. No luck. Did intensive research for 5 straight hours. No luck. Please, you gotta help me.

The driver that I accidentally uninstalled>https://flic.kr/p/pjxNd2

1. I am wayyy desperate and broken right now- tell me something about 'power settings' 'batteriez' 'blah amps blah' and I swear I will nuke the whole universe, lol. I have a 700 Watts PSU, and the 3.0 cable I am using has two ends (one extra for aux. power). I am 5000% sure that it is not power issues.
2. The HDD IS NEW. It is a Fujitsu 1000 GB USB 3.0
3. System restore won't work.
4. I am willing to be controlled by TeamViewer for live help. Anyone who has TeamViewer can help me out. You can contact me for an appointment

NOTE-Your USB 3.0 must have atleast a single device connected

1) Download Driver Booster Free from iObit and Install them (You can make it PRO by learning in Youtube)

2) At first Open,It will automatically scan for Outdated Drivers

3) After Searching,It will show the Results and All you have to do is tap 'Update',Sit back and Enjoy some Coffee !

4) When you click 'Update',It will calculate the Size of those drivers,Download it all in One (As an Order)

5) Most Important thing - It also creates a System Restore Point before installing any Driver.

6) After every driver is...

It's not working. It says it is not compatible with windows 8.1. I mentioned that my OS is 'windows 8.1 pro x64'. I've done it for a couple times, but no luck. I need some help, and I am desperate. Please, anyone?

By the way, they are not new. I've been using them for like nearly a year. The problem started when I need to install a driver for my HDD and instead accidentally deleted it. I hope you can help me out. Thanks!

6) After every driver is installed,It MAY ask you to Re-start or Reboot your PC.Even though it dosn't ask to Restart your PC,I highly recommend you to Restart your PC

What it basically does is find Missing,Damaged and Out-dated drivers in the Internet Automatically and install it without any Hassle and by itself. It actually will mod some Coding inside those Driver Files.

This Brilliant Software can almost find any driver that is Missing or Outdated Drivers. So,You never need to open your Browser to download a Driver and Install them.

After all these,It must work Perfectly Fine. Please let me know the result (If it fixes your problem)

If My solution fixes your Problem,Please don't forget to make mine as your Best Answer.

Thank you

Hello there, and thanks for the reply. I am Alex from Myanmar (Burma), and your neighbor... Anyway. You see, I already have the pro version of this software installed, with system mechanics and advanced Systemcare Ultimate. I tried for many times to scan in, WITH the device plugged in, but still no luck. I've tried many things manually, no luck, still.

I hope you can help me out. I'd fancy an appointment, whenever you're free. I will have my PC controlled by TeamViewer via the internet, and maybe you can see what's wrong. Best solution award is just around the corner... And again, thanks a ton! :D

Splendid
Go to Asus site, click on their download link and type in your mobo model. Select the OS your using and download the USB 3.0 drivers. UASP is not part of the USB 3.0 drivers. UASP is not required for USB 3.0 to work.

Sorry, but no luck. You won't believe me. Someone should see it for themselves. Please use teamviewer to check my PC, if you don't mind... I am desperate.
