Hello,

So i recently faced an issue and i went to my bios and i accidentally loaded default setup options after that my laptop started using integrated gpu instead of my nvidia gpu so i went into my bios to fix it now the problem here is that ever since i did that my laptop is running extremely slow sometimes i know it has something to do with the bios settings is there anyway that i could get back to my old options other than using my lenovo product recovery?

Thanks.

Specs :

Nvidia Nvs 4200M
Core I7-2nd
8gb Ram

Solution
Default bios options should be ok.

A laptop with both integrated graphics and dedicated graphics is capable of using either.
Look in windows power options.
On battery, the laptop should, by default switch to integrated and will lower the multiplier and screen brightness to conserve battery.
Plugged in, it should use the dedicated graphics.

On the desktop, right click and access the nvidia control panel.
There, you should be able to select whichever adapter you want.

It might be worth while to reinstall the nvidia drivers for your 4200m adapter.
