Accidentally set loaction for downloads foler as F:/

I meant to create a new library location for it on the drive but i had a moment and set it simply to the drive itself. Now all files save to the drives main page rather than the folder i wanted to create for them.

using this method, i cant change it. the option to click on "downloads" has disappeared. Any ideas on how to solve this?

This is a windows issue so I moved this to windows 10. If you are running a different windows let us know and we'll be happy to move it correctly. Thanks.

I think this is a browser setting.

What browser are you using? Since you have selected a default folder it will use it without asking again, but it should be changable from the browser settings.

So to confirm, if you open Windows Explorer, open up the This PC tree, the Downloads link isn't there?

If there's still a "Downloads" link there, you can right click it and choose properties, and then there's a Location tab and there's a move button there where you can select where you'd like it to go.

If it's NOT THERE, right click on the Libraries tree and choose "Restore Default Libraries" and that will most likely bring it back, you'll have to change their locations back to where you want them to be though.

Why can you do it in two places? why have the folder tab and also the settings/system/storage/save locations tab? The second one doesn't let you browse so it just sets the drives like the guy above is complaining about... its the dumber of the two. If it were meant to replace the folder tab then it needs a browse ability so you can set the actual folder. I used it first time i set up folders in win 10 and it did what the guy above is complaining about.
