I know there are multiple threads on this already but I haven't found an answer for my case. Here is what happened step by step:
1. I accidentally uninstalled AMD Install Manager (while investigating the installation of raptr and other software) and therefore I might have uninstalled my graphics card. My audio does not work as well. (I run a Radeon HD 7800)
2. I attempted to reinstall the drivers using the AMD auto detect tool but that did not work.
3. I attempted a system restore but it said my drive was corrupt.
4. I attempted a clean uninstall of the AMD software and retried the auto detect tool but it failed again.
5. I have tried updating the drivers in my device manager many times but it always comes up as up to date.
6. I have read just about every thread I can find on this subject but none of the solutions seem to have worked for me because I still cannot hear any sound.
Any help would be apprectiated!
