I have no clue where to begin, i had a problem with my PC that fortunately i fixed. When i got logged back into the PC the internet wouldnt work, it said that the Ethernet was not connected. While messing with settings and all i accidentally uninstalled the Network adapter driver. So now i have no internet on the PC in order to search for drivers, in addition, i don't know what drivers i need, how to install them Manually, and what the initial problem was. I'm really bummed out about this and will appreciate any help that comes from this. Only specs i feel are necessary to mention is that my Mother board is an MSI x99a Sli Plus.. i am running on Windows 10 x64 bit. Also almost forgot to mention, i believe the initial problem had to do with my Ethernet controller. Sorry for the vagueness, i'm just really irritated, ignorant, and upset.

Despite it having the message it had earlier about the Deep sleep mode, i went ahead and pressed okay and it said it installed successfully, but it doesnt seem to have fixed anything, should i reset the PC to check?

It sounds as if the network adapter has failed. If it's still in warranty, I'd try to RMA the motherboard. If it's out of warranty, you can pick up a cheap ethernet card if you have an open PCI slot or a USB wifi adapter if you have a wireless router.

Are there any yellow flags under device manager?

That'd definitely be a last resort for me, if you have any other suggestions i will deeply appreciate them, if not, i thank you for trying your best to.

No sir, but i THINK it did beside ethernet controller before i uninstalled.

when i go to change adapter settings, i come to a menu that says that this folder is empty, i'm obviously missing something :/

Wait so, the Ethernet controller is a HARDWARE? This says it's not connected.. probably obvious.. how would i reconnect it?

You would plug the cable from your modem into the ethernet port on the back of the computer.

when trying to install an Intel adapter it said that the SNMP wasn't present.

To reconnect the controller? That doesn't make sense to me?

"Not connected" there means not connected to the internet.

Yes, but the folder goes SNMP ---> Mib (or Mlb can't tell) ----> INTELDCB.Mib
INTELLAN.Mib

No executables.. and i don't know what those MIB files are or how to use them.

I'm sorry, no , it says not connected to this computer.

I'm hesitant to try this.. Could this not harm my PC? I have Onboard LAN Contoller [Enabled]
LAN Option ROM [Disabled]
Network Stack [Disabled]
is there anything to be gathered from that or what?
