I never encountered any serious errors with this pc for 3 years now. the most I got is a checksum error about the CMOS battery. the other day I accidentally unplugged it while turned on 2 hrs later I plugged it back again now it won't start. I also noticed that there are no led lights. usually, whenever I plug it into the wall socket, the led lights inside my pc case turn on for a brief moment. now there's nothing and the pc won't turn on... I tried the hairclip test on the psu and the fan is spinning but when it's connected to the motherboard it's not working pls help

Specs:
-i7-3770
-8 GB RAM
-Rx 580 8gb
-Windows 10

PSU: GW-600PW
MOBO: H81H3-M7

Just want to add that there's a CMOS checksum error every time I boot up my pc but I always managed to fix this by turning everything in the bios into default. this time the pc was unplugged during boot checksum error pc won't turned on ever since. wondering if it's connected to that

Seeing you have had a CMOS checksum error every time the PC was turned on when it was working, I would replace the CMOS battery first.

did some research according to what I found. a dead CMOS battery could only affect the time/dates and bios settings but don't prevent the pc from starting at all.. but I will try changing it regardless

ye pretty much modern mainboards hold just date/time and few legacy CSM settings

try paperclip jumpstart your PSU (while PSU disconnected from mainboard)

if PSU fan wont spin, then fuse is blown

Can you show a photo of your system with side panel removed (motherboard view) ?
(upload to imgur.com and post link)

Do you have front panel power on switch correctly connected to motherboard?
yes everything is correctly connected.. as I said it suddenly stopped turning on after I accidentally unplug the PSU from the wall socket without shutting it down here's the picture I only removed the GPU View: https://imgur.com/a/9E4eoX5

20+4 pin mainboard connector isnt fully seated in

it can burn if you dont connect it properly

I see a screw missing in one corner of the board.
If it has fallen out and lodged in somewhere, where it shouldn't, then it may have shorted something.

Is that a screw - on the board near sata connectors?

the upper right screw has been missing for years now so I don't think that's the problem XD the computer failed to work after I accidentally unplugged it from the wall socket during boot

thx for pointing that out. fixed it but the computer still not showing any sign of life.. tried the paper clip test with the case fans connected to the PSU and it's all spinning but when the 24 pin is connected to the mobo nothing..
