I opened my Dimension 5150 case and saw a soudn card (i think) under my x600 graphics card, and as they were the same size and shape i thought they were both graphics cards. So when updating my graphics drivers I accidently installed update for crossfire x600 driver instead of a single x600 gpu. This cause my power supply to die, perhaps because the system was asking for power for two graphics cards?
I baught a new power supply but dont know what to do with the drivers. Do i just install the correct drivers and it will automatically over right the wrong ones, or must i first uninstall the crossfire driver and then install the correct one?
Know very little about drivers, so all advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
