Accidently bought laptop SSHD. Can i still use it?

Was at my local computer store and accidentally bought a laptop hybrid drive. it's 2.5" with a 6gb/s sata port and i was wondering if i could use it in my desktop despite it being for a laptop. If so should i use it or return it and just buy one for a desktop

100% fine, but it probably costs more per gigabyte than a desktop one - you might save money or get more space if you return it, depending on their return policy.
