Hi all,
So basically, I just changed my build and new mobo's front panel usb connections were more towards the centre than on the right, and since all the front panel cable were cable tied I had to cut them (I didnt cable tie them they were cable tied due to that it was orignally a prebuilt custom pc), the scissors however slightly nicked the usb 3.0 cable, very slightly though, cant see the wiring inside, also slightly nicked the reset button cable, will this cause issues like shorts or anything like that ?, thanks all.

If you didn't damage the cables inside then you should be fine. Just put some electrical tape over it, that way you won't run the risk of shorting something when making contact with another part of your PC.
