Question Accidently plugged in ram while pc is one. Wont boot with that stick inserted

Ok so i was installing a 1660 and i went to task manager to see how my ram was doing and i noticed that both sticks were in but it was only showing as 4 gigabytes. Stupid me before i pressed on the ram to make sure it clicked i forgot to turn the pc off. After i did this the pc froze so i turned it off then back on and now the pc wont do anything but black screen while that stick is inserted. Did i fry the ram? motherboard and the slot is fine. 2400 mhz corsair vengence. 16 gb ram

That RAM is dead, try to RMA it and see if you get lucky.

It won't be that much difference between the speeds.
Get the 3200 MHz if equally priced.

Make sure you disclose to them that you damaged the RAM by your carelessness.

The right thing to do would be to try to RMA through the manufacturer.
