Question Accidently ran a .SCR and found malware, is there any more around?

Hi,

I accidently ran a .SCR sent to me via an artstation message. After a about 2 weeks my Steam was compromised and i was aware of my mistake after my items were sold on steam marketplace. Changed my passwords and Malwarebytes picked up a few of the viruses and removed them.
Just wondering if there is anything else that might be hidden especialy after 2 weeks of not knowing.


I Still have the original SCR in a winzip for refrence and i have an export log of malwarebytes.
If anyone could help that would be great, not sure how deep im in or if im clean

Fresh install of windows is the way to go with this. Only way to be sure system is clean.

Anything else will leave you wondering all the time and always worried.

Didnt want to resort to it but if i get any other stuff leaked i guess ill just pull the pin if no one else has any work around.

With ANY compromised system a full "Nuke and pave" is the ONLY way to make sure. If you don't do this there may well be pieces left behind that can reconstitute. You also need to destroy any external media that may have been used. If you plug a compromised USB stick in it will just start things all over again.
