how do I reinstall windows from like the reboot screen or like from the f3. I accidently forced shut down when it was installing windows. Now I am stuck in a frozen rebooting process. I left it reboot overnight, and the next morning I went to check on the laptop, and to find out it was still rebooting and loading. Please help me!!! It is an asus laptop by the way.

Have you tried to boot off the Installer again and just start again?

if there is anything you want to save on laptop, you can try this: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/use-ubuntu-live-cd-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-windows-computer/

if win 8 just throws another error at you when you try to install again, you could run http://www.dban.org/ on c drive, wipe it all and then reinstall which ever version of windows you were installing.

Create a bootable install disk if you do not have one already and boot directly to that. Be sure to select custom or advanced installation and delete the partition and recreate it at the window where you select which drive/partition windows installs to, this will prevent your partial install from screwing with the new one.

You need a bootable install disk; it's easy to create but you'll need to use another PC to create it. If you need a step-by-step guide, I find this one works: http://www.howtogeek.com/224342/how-to-clean-install-windows-10/

Once you are up and runing I highly recommend that you start backing up your data. Either with a disk imager (i.e. Macrium Reflect) or a snapshot tool (i.e. RollBack Rx).
