Accidently touched thermal paste

Hi,

I am currently working on my first build and i have accidently touched the thermal paste of the stock cooler from Ryzen 5 1600.

Do i need to get a new tube and reapply? Or would this still work?

I do belive this would still work, at least from what i can see, it`s still covering like 99% of the CPU, so you should be fine. Even if it turns out you are getting higher temps beacuse of it, you can just remove the cooler, clean the cpu and cpu cooler, and apply new thermal paste! So you`ll be fine

I concur, from photos it looks like it should be fine.
The spot should even fill in most of the way as you screw it down to the CPU.
