I use an SSD as my boot drive on my macbook pro. I accedently unplugged in when my mac was on. Not it doesn't work anymore. I put my old hard drive in and the computer works. Is the SSD dead?

If your bios no longer see it, you can try connecting it with one of the usb adapters for sata; this can help verify if it is still working or not. If it is not working contact the manufacturer tech support at which point you have 2 options - 1) explain that you were an idiot and accidentally unplugged your ssd while it was working, and now it no longer appears to work and ask them how to fix or start a warranty replacement or 2) just say ssd stopped working can we do a warranty replacement or how do I get it fixed.

Some companies have a clause in their warranty that excludes 'customer caused problems', most understand we are all over sized monkey's and shit happens.
