Accommodating Video Card in a Micro ATX case

Hello,

I believe the computer I'm about to purchase is considered micro ATX. The dimensions are: 10.5" x 4.0" x15.6".

I was wondering if it could accommodate EVGA Geforce GTX 750.

I don't understand. If you go to the link it will say 6.7x1.5x 4.4. How can the graphic card fit since the case is only 4 inches wide. I'm so confused right now.

Is that what I'm seeing? Those dimensions seem very tight on each other even if the gpu is placed, rotated 8" x 2.1" x 12.1".

I'm interested to see an experienced member clearing it up, as I am also now perplexed.

EDIT: Wait, I see now "Product Dimensions: 6.7 x 1.5 x 4.4 inches" for the gpu, which looks like there might be room for it. I don't know how that system is set up, so I'm still waiting to learn from someon more knowledgeable.

Yes, Seeking Solace. It seems the second dimensions are correct. Amazon were mistaken the first time. I don't know how reliable they are now.

I've no idea how the system is set up. I've contacted the eBay seller and they said they could not exchange the order so I'm getting it in the end. I'll find out when it arrives.

It seems that for $380 I might be able to get a very decent gaming rig. I know the CPU will bottleneck the GPU but still.

The case is said to be exactly 4" wide. It appears that the PCI Express slot is at the bottom of the motherboard.

Looking at the video, I can't imagine how the GPU will fit in there, hopefully someone experienced has an idea. You said it's already on its way to you, so good luck, I hope it works out.

The GPU that you've linked to will not fit.
There are usually only 2 types of GPU form factor, which is regulated by the width of it's PCI-E slot. The two types are either full-height, or half-height (low profile). Full-height GPU is the GPU that will most likely appear on every gaming system, whereas the half-height (low profile) cards are usually for older system, business, or small cases such as yours.

It comes with a low profile bracket that you may install when you are ready to put into the slim case.

So are you saying that it won't fit because it is full height or because of the additional slot that the cooler takes?

How about XFX Radeon 7750 1GB? It is a slim card. Do you think this one will fit?

It won't fit because of the metal panel in the front being too wide.

The card has to be low profile (smaller width of the metal panel).

No problem. Manufacturer rarely make low profile cards anymore because of the unpopularity of slim tower casing. People who wants slim style like that usually go with HTPC cases, and those are increasingly trying to fit a full height GPU in there by using riser cards, such as Silverstone RAZ01.

i agree with IDontUnderstand your better get something else since this is a slim case and need a low profile card also the psu must be a low power one also this was a refurbished with only 90 days warranty ,give a look around for a little more money you get something better and with a full warranty ,so the best answer go up to the previous poster .
