NT 4 WS (and also 2000) sometimes gives me a new account, when i log in. I have to rearrange all my settings and there is a directory named myaccount.000 (*.001 *.002 ...)
in the Profiles Directory.
What can I do?

I'm unsure of the reason why it start to do that, I think that it is when Windows can't update the roaming profile, due to a network failure or something like that. What I do myself is rename the old profile folder on the server, delete all of your account.* and account profile folder locally, and log on, redefine your settings and it should be done.

P.S. : I assumed that you have a roaming profile configuration, if not, forget the server part.
