Account Validation Points

I never received the 50 points for validating my email. I HAVE confirmed and activated my account (just changed my email and re-activated it), but I never received the 50 points. I started out with 50, and have posted questions and answers since to get where I am now.

Wasnt sure if this was something I missed, or misread, or a bug.

You have about as many points as you should. 13 posts and two lots of 50 points.

13*4 = 52 (each post is worth 4 points)
52 + 50 + 50 = 152

You're at 149 as of my post, which is pretty close, and it doesn't update instantly.

But I've also selected a "best answer"...
and this is my second "question" I've opened

my count is 15 (x 2) + 4 (x 11) + 25 + 50 = 149

2 questions at 15/ea
11 additional posts (two of the 13 were the questions)
25 for selecting the best answer
and 50 for creating my account

From what I understand, the 50 points is for creating and validating your account. I don't think you get an extra 50 when you confirm it.

I was just going by this:

And points are granted as follows :

Account creation: 50
Account validation: 50
"Question"-type thread opening: 15
"Discussion" or "Poll"-type thread opening: 10
Answering a thread or commenting a news article: 4
Selecting a "best answer" : 25
Being selected as the "best answer" : 40

it makes it seem like there's two 50 point awards.
not that I'm really concerned. The site helps regardless of what "level" I'm at
