First of all sorry if this is not in the right forum, I have an acer 5315 laptop that I am trying to reset to the factory settings, I do not care to lose everything on it if that helps me solve my problem. Every time I turn it on it gives me the F2 and F12 options, if I don't hit either of those within a couple seconds it says on bottom left "prepare Boot to OS" and the screen will take me to a black screen after about 30 seconds that sassy some copy right stuff and the following which might help to mention.
"PXE-E61: media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: exiting broadcom PXE ROM
No bootbale device-- insert boot disk and press any key" I do not have a CD and when I try either F8 or alt+f10 neither work and the above prepare to boot os continues unless f2 or f12 are hit, any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Use the re-installation CD that came with the computer. If you do not have this CD use any similar Windows re-installation CD and enter the authorization code when asked to do so. This authorization code is on the underside of the laptop.

You may be able to get a CD from Acer for a nominal charge of about $10.

To get rid of this you need to re-install Windows without the remote option.
