Acer 5532 wont connect to netgear wireless router

Hello,
My husband's Acer 5532 will connect to my Aunt's wireless internet but not to ours on our Netgear WNR2000v2 wireless network. I have updated the drivers, checked and rechecked the settings on the router. My computer connects to it just fine but his Acer says "unable to connect to Forwood"

Three areas to check (again) in the router. Wireless Security (I'd turn it off temporarily and see if you can connect then). Access List (disable it). Wireless Mode - go for mixed mode if necessary.
