Acer Aspire 5250

My mother-in-law had this laptop & she died. It has a password on it that nobody knows. Is there any way to get into it? It has a lot of family pictures on it & I really need them. Thanks in advance for any help..

An interesting predicament that we cannot help with. I'll suggest contacting Acer Support and seeing if they can help (they'll likely require some kind of authentication).

I downloaded a service manual from acer & it shows you how to reset it & remove passwords.
