Acer Aspire 5517 Atheros Wireless Adapter

Friends having issues with her wireless adapter in her Aspire 5517, I had her download the latest drivers for the Atheros adapter from the Acer website. Still there's a yellow triangle next to wireless adapter in device manager: The device cannot start. (Code 10)
Any help?
