Acer aspire 5536 update bios without battery??

Can anyone please help me update the bios on my acer aspire??my battery is dead so...

Can you not plug the pc in? if not theres no way to update it.

I've managed to open my pc but it took me two hours.and the bios is 1.03 and the latest bios is 1.11. Also the date and time is wrong but every time I put the correct date if I close my pc everything is lost.they told me that I need to update my bios but i can't do it without a working battery... I get an error because of the battery.
