Acer aspire 5741 wireless card

my factory wifi card in my laptop failed, it was a Broadcom bcm943225hm. I purchased an
Intel Network 7260.HMWG WiFi Wireless-AC 7260 H/T Dual Band 2x2 AC+Bluetooth HMC card to replace it. When I boot my pc if fails to run windows most of the time. If im lucky it will boot up, but it takes forever and is extremely sluggish when navigating throughout the pc. is there a way to fix this, or did I buy the wrong wifi card?

You need to contact Acer and ask them for a list of their approved WiFi cards on your laptop model.
You can't just stick anything in which fits.
