how do i put my acer aspire 5750 back to factory settings

1. Power on the computer
2. At the white ACER BIOS screen, hold the Alt key and press the F10 key simultaneously to start Acer eRecovery.

or press f8 at startup and select repair my pc then factory restore option

Iv tried this myself and it's not doing anything, I have a problem with bootable device eror on load up, is it still possible to reformat
