Acer Aspire 5755g keyboard not working, with bulges

I have a problem to my acer aspire 5755g's keyboard since i dismounted it to change thermal paste. When i put it togheter again, i noticed some bulges around groups of keys, and these keys didn't work. some things you have to know to help me:
1. screen keyboard and external keyboard work, so it's an hardware thing;
2. i bought a replacement keyboard, but it didn't fix the problem;
3. i fastened the screws in every possible manner.

UPDATE: re-routing the cables correctly (that meant also pulling off the motherboard) reduced the number of keys affected, but I'm still not able to write a meaningful sentence. I don't know if the slack feeling I have of the grid between keyboard keys when I push against it is someway related. I repeat, screws have been double checked.

Where on the keyboard are the bulges? I'd suspect wires are not properly routed under there but am unsure. This video at ~8 min in shows the cables just as the keyboard is removed http://youtu.be/HTn5STGSbE4?t=8m3s you want to ensure the same. Just a hunch but that's where I would start.

never thought about that. I'll try as soon as possible, provided that I have to dismantle everything for a keyboard. thank you by the way
UPDATE: i forgot about this topic, and I tried to forget about the problem at all. I tried what you said and it didn't work. However, i recently sent it to a tecnician who said he fixed it. I will come with updates.
