Question Acer Aspire 7 Heatsink Stuck

I'm trying to replace the thermal paste on an acer aspire 7 a715-72g-79bh but I can't seem to take the heatsink off. It's stuck really tight and I don't want to damage anything. There seems to be double sided tape sticking the heatsink to the motherboard and a perforated piece of tape sticking the heatsink to the fans. Has anyone done this successfully and if so what process did you do to remove the heatsink?

First of all, why do you wanna replace the thermal paste of such a new laptop? How hot is the laptop getting? Is it overheating?
