So I have a friends Acer Aspire that I am working on, she spilled water on it so i took apart the components and put them in silica gel over night. I then replaced them one at a time to see if there were any that did not work, and after a series of tests I found that everything works fine as long as its running or restarting but if I shut down the computer I must unplug the laptop, remove the cmos battery, replace it then plug it back in and start it. I was going to try flashing the Bios but before I did I wanted to see if yall could think of a less invasive action. Thank you.
