The BIOS has little or nothing to do with the OS. It speaks directly the hardware, not Windows.
It only lists Win 8.1, because Win 10 was not a thing in 2012.

However, BIOS updates are not to be done lightly. Unless you're seeing a specific issue that the newer BIOS addresses, I'd consider just leaving it as is.

I can't seem to find information about the changes made in BIOS V1.13 anywhere so I guess I'll just forget about it.

Howdy, I am attempting boot an Acer Strive for E1-531 Intel B960 2mb L3 reserve 2.2 Ghz 6gb DDR3 ram500gb Hdd for my companion as it had become increasingly slow , it had attempted to introduce windowns 10. be that as it may, this didn't work effectively She has carried it to me to see and all its doing is the point at which you start it , I get examining and reparing drive C and the windows hover turning round furthest I have it to is 45% then I get dark screen reboots then closes down I presume adulterated operating system or mistakes on circle Do these PCs not accompany bolster plates and No success 8 key I cannot get into the firmware by squeezing ESC or any of the F keys.
any makes a difference.
