Im thinking of changing my Acer Aspire Motherboard For the Asus P8Z68-V LX Motherboard but was not sure which was better and the advantages and disadvantages of both?

Your system has a proprietary copy of windows, so you'll need a new coa unless microsoft will issue it by phone. Most likely they will tell you to call acer. If your old board works, I wouldn't change it, unless you like the case and power supply (most are weak and just adequate for the system).
