I have an Acer Aspire M5-538P-6423 that i want to upgrade RAM in.
I used the Crucial Tool to find the right stick of RAM (8GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM 1.35V) But when i put it in my laptop, the lapotp will not even start, it attempts to, but just shuts off right away and goes into an infinate loop of that. I can put in the Stock 2GB stick and it starts right up.
BIOS have been updated.
I know the stick that is in it is a PC3L, and the new one is a DDR3L, would that cause it.
Any help would be appreciated greatly. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
