Specs:

CPU- Intel Core 2 Quad Q822
RAM- 4GB DDRII
HDD- 640GB SATA
Video- ATI Radeon HD4850 512MB

I want to upgrade my CPU and Video card, can someone tell me what i could upgrade to (I dont want to upgrade much but i need a much better video card and atleast a better quad core), because I've been looking but I can't find anything, and also if I could put 2 monitors....

some models of store bought computers [dell.hp,acer,ect..] may come with a ''locked'' bios and may not allow you to change certin hardware as a video card.. this is done to protect them from undue warrenty claims and refunds .this is not done to hurt you but to protect them. you realy need to see if that upgrade has been proven to work in your model first before you invest money in it .. there are a lot of these threads here at toms to look at. some models will allow upgrades and some dont.. it would be sad you spent $200 on a card that wount post after you installed it as most find out. but its up to you good luck..

What do you mean? those are the Specs of my computer now, I am wondering if anyone knows any hardware that I can upgrade it with that is advisable and good seeing i don't really have much to spend...The specs that are there are already on the PC, I just want to know if anyone knows any Video cards or CPUs that will work on the PC and are better then the ones already in, and i'm asking this because when i went to the Tech store to ask about these things the man said i needed to know the model of my motherboard of which i have no clue.

it means what it says, now yours may take a upgrade , it may not . you got to decide or find out if it will. if that tech guy can install your new hardware and get it working pay him and its good for you, if he cant your not out nothing , but if you buy and it dont install and work due to what i stated above then your just out ... i just post that above to let you know that theres a risk in upgrading these types of computers. the rest is up to you... i could not find nothing on that board outher that acer... dude all i can say is good luck on that.
