[SOLVED] Acer Aspire TC-330G Motherboard and Dual Channel

Hello,

My wife bought a desktop a few years back for her business but it only has 8 GB of ram. So today I purchased two 4 GB sticks of RAM from Amazon and after installing it, I ran CPU-Z and it only shows that it's running in single channel rather than dual-channel.

Is there anything else I have to do to make it run in dual-channel?

Check to make sure that two memory sticks are technically identical.

Enter the Bios and use optimized default to see if the computer recognize the memory correctly.
