[SOLVED] Acer Aspire XC-895 Graphics Card Upgrade

HI,

I bought an Acer Aspire XC-985 for my son for xmas, he only plays Roblox, Minecraft and some other basic games so i didnt think a gaming PC was essential as long as the CPU and RAM had a decent amount of Grunt in it. However he also wants to record some of the games he plays to post to you tube (as all kids do now) and the recording is very laggy with the GPU maxing out when you hit the record button.

Can someone help me with Graphics card upgrade options as they seem limited, the PSU is only 180w too so would i (if its possible to) upgrade that as well ?

That case comes with a proprietary non-standard Acer PSU. You might be able to fit a Flex/Mini ITX PSU.
Since the system has an option of a Acer 220W , you might be able to find an Acer 220W PSU that fits on that case.
The small profile case and the PSU option available won't allow that many options for upgrades.
You might be able to fit a low power (≥75W), low profile GPU that could fit on that PC case.
Also, there is almost not ventilation on that case, and installing a GPU will generate more heat.
Heat trapped in the case could cause the CPU to overheat causing it to throttle.
