Acer battery

I'm getting the error message consider replacing the battery and I'm hearing something about bios -- what is this and how do I do it?

Which exact model is your Acer laptop? Which OS are you using and what is the exact error message?
Also, at what point do you get this error message?

It is an Acer Aspire 5336-2524. I'm sorry I don't know what you mean when you ask what OS I'm using.

The message is is when I move the mouse onto the battery icon in my tray, although my battery is fully charged, I get the messagel.
