ACER computer won't turn on

I woke up one day and my ACER desktop computer wouldn't turn on.The only time it does turn on is when I unplug it and then plug it back in, but it's never goes past the start up screen and after a few seconds it turns off.

What is the exact model?
could be the psu or motherboard failing/failed

I bought a new Acer Aspire 885 desktop last month and having same issue. I also bought a Samsung 24 inch curved monitor. Sometimes the monitor wont light up when I turn the computer on and I need to press the button behind the monitor. Probably need to play with the monitor settings to correct the problem. Unfortunately there is also an issue with the computer cutting out. The computer light stays on but the screen goes blank and does a soft reboot. This has happened about 20 times since I bought it. I called Acer and they do not seem to know what to do. WTF

continued; I installed Core Temp to see if the processor was over-heating but that does not seem to be the case.
