Acer g245h black light bleed any help ????

hey ,
well i bought acer g245h bimbd and i really like , and the monitor is fine no dead pixel and the colors are great enough but i do have something bother me which the black light bleed on the top and the bottom of the monitor well the top is more than the bottom and its appears when i watch movies that has black bars and its bother me and its also appears little when something more white like games i mean i can notice it , so did i got bad one or the monitor like that ?/

and how can i fix the black light bleed , i did try options to lower the contrast
or make it high so i can't notice it but not work good the only thing that make it a little when i do text mode and more better when i do lower the brightness and the contrast as low as i can but it make movies darker


another question well its my first hdmi 1080 monitor so when i plug hdmi i see four black bars on the top,bottom,left,right of the monitor is these normal ??

looks like someone figured out a homemade remedy for the backlighting bleed. however do this at your own risk. I would rather return the product myself.

as for your second question about black bars... did you mean that the outermost pixels on each side are "black" and not lit when an hdmi source is connected? if this is the case it almost sounds like the monitor has an odd number of pixels so it is turning off the ones it cannot use with the source. i had an older lcd that did the same, but my new lcd tv doesnt.

well, i tried these method and it dose not help either , my old monitor has black light bleed and i know all lcd got it, it depends on how much i will notice it and i do notice mine in dark images but i also can notice it very very thin in scene of movies with white scene , i wish they can fix these problem or find solution to it because it has been and still annoying thing ,


i have bleed in the bottom but i don't notice it , i just notice the top of the monitor , i wish there is a broken button than the black light bleed , however these monitor is a great colors offer but black light bleed is just destroy the beauty of it or any other good monitor


any way i fixed my hdmi problem it, i was just needed to scaling it from ccc control
