Acer GN246HL and ghosting

I'm about to buy one of these which are dirt cheap refurbed on Amazon right now. Among the cons that everyone mentions are a lack of adjustable stand and having to manually activate lightboost through some programs and also the monitor being too bright out of the box, all of which I can deal with.

My question is whether the monitor has noticeable ghosting in game? I'll primarily be using it for games like cs go and ghosting would really screw me over if it's there. Not all reviews say there's ghosting, in fact I asked on amazon if there is any and the one answer I got said no. But there are some reviews that mention bad ghosting or lag when looking at two images with contrasting colors.

I just wanna know if anyone here owns one of these or is familiar with them enough to set the record straight. Does
Acer GN246HL come with noticeable ghosting in game?

i dont own GL246HL.

according to reviews, the monitor is very fast but as the override fuction is aggressive, the result in visible overshoot is inevitable.! as blur reduction isnt adjustable, third party utilities do exist in order to alleviate it in some extend.have a look here http://www.overclock.net/t/1579882/how-to-use-lightboost-on-acer-gn246hl . thats why the monitor is so cheap ,not to mention the rather basic stand.

for competitive gaming with the lowest possible motion blur without all that fuzz of these hacking utilities i suggest to look for a Benq or Asus .

if gsync / freesync isnt appealing to you, this is the best monitor you can get , but doesnt come cheap.
