So, to start this off, these are my specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i-5-3570 CPU @ 3.40GHz
8 GB RAM
GeForce 1030 (GT 1030)
My PC only has a DisplayPort and HDMI port on the back and the monitor doesn't support 144hz with HDMI and doesn't support DisplayPort at all.
So I bought a DP to DVI adapter and connected it together and I'm still stuck at 60hz and I can't go higher.
I'm currently using a DP to DVI adapter at the moment.
I tried searching for a fix and on some pinned threads somewhere on this forums, I found this
If I buy one of those adapters that was recommend
Will it support my graphics card and for a fact will I have my 144hz?
Some guy has the same issue as me and I'm just confused at this point.
What do I need to do for my 144hz to work besides returning the monitor (which I might be considering if there's no option)
