News Acer has a new pair of 14.5-inch laptops for gaming on the go

They sounded great until I saw "OLED"...

Also, to the webmaster of Tomshardware: Can you please revert the change made a couple of days ago so when you click See Comments or scroll down to make a comment it pops up that "More stories" popup?

Interesting choice pairing lunar lake top end chip (4P/4le) with 5070. Arrowlake platform I think would be the better choice with its 16 cores (6P/8e/2le) but perhaps not with how efficient lunar is and how thermally throttled this platform is going to be.

I'm assuming the Triton only has 1x TB4 port because of the way 288V's 16x PCIe lanes are wired.
it only has 8 gen4 lanes. The TB4 connection does not use pcie, as the controller is embedded into the die.

imo this is a good idea with a stupid implementation. I wouldn't be surprised at people moaning about its performance. Yes, it is a 5070 with a 20W SoC attached with a pcie 4.0 x4 interface. Of course it's bottlenecked to hell and back.

We're both wrong, it's actually 4x 5.0 + 4x 4.0 with 12x "TB4 - PCIe".

But seeing as the 5070 Mobile is the same GB206 used in the desktop 5060Ti, it sounds like it'll run into the same issue when it runs out of VRAM.
