Question Acer KG25IQF

Hi, i just got my new Acer KG25IQF but there is a problem i cannot use 144hz through DVI. You may ask why don't I swap to DP (which Works) I had different graphic problems while using it. After swapping to DVI I cant access 144hz only 120hz even when i try to make a custom res (AMD) I get a message "The custom Resolution settings are not compatible with this display. Reconfigure your settings and try again". I really need help with this as I can only find Nvidia solutions on the internet Thanks.

Ram: 8 gb corsair vengence 2133mhz
SSD/HDD: 250gb Kingston ssd, 2TB hdd
GPU: MSI RX 480 GAMING X 8G

Can you elaborate on what you mean by having different graphics card problems while using the DP? How old is your PSU?

AMD tends to be weird with limitations sometimes when using DVI/HDMI.

Try running the AMD pixel clock patcher: https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-AMD-ATI-Pixel-Clock-Patcher

My PSU is 2 years old. I have gone Back to DP for 144hz but now am getting these terrible graphics issues https://imgfly.me/i/XppjSR that do not happen with my benq monitor.
