Acer laptop problems

I am having troubles with my acer E1-521-0851 laptop. The screen turns on and you can see it light up but it is a black screen with white on the top, sides, and bottom. When i plug it into a external display. When i boot it up, you can see the (F2 for bios) and other buttons but it then goes to a black screen. The hard drive is having problems. The other day when the screen was working fine, I couldn't get into windows 10 because it kept on saying that my Pc ran into a problem and needed to be restarted. I tried most of the recovery options but none of them seem to work

It honestly might your Hard Drive..but what could be causing it, I haven't the slightest clue.
