Acer laptop stuck on logo on boot

Acer laptop not booting
I get the Acer logo and get stuck there, tried pressing/mashing f1, f2, f8, f12 and del, but none did anything. Tried removing all devices, even the battery for around 5 mins, still nothing

It's likely an issue with a corrupted/damaged Master Boot Record (MBR).

Try resetting that, if that doesn't work, you will need to re-install the OS.

Either way, should be having backups in case this happens again, something like Macrium Reflect or RollBack Rx will work if you don't have a reliable solution already.

And how exactly do I reset the MBR? Plus i cant re install the OS as I cant acsess boot settings

EDIT: booting without harddrive does show a message that boot drive is missibg

As i have pointed out, i can not acsess the recocery menu. Nor can i acsess the bios or boot options. I can acsess these when i disconnect the harddrive (not sure why)
