I have an Acer aspire M laptop, and every time I take the charger cord out my laptop it unexpectedly shutdown, even though it says the battery is full charged. How can I fix my laptop problem?
I would say the battery is dead. If you have a fluke meter you could test it and see what the voltages show. Other than that I would say take it somewhere and have them test it for you and you may have to purchase a new one.
Turn the power profile to minimum, and see if you can get it to work that way. Then run the battery flat and see if it charges up again. Mobile fones can get like this sometimes.

If I take the cord out, it will shut down. Its already fully charged

What he is getting at is that the battery has a charge memory. With letting it drain slowly it can help wipe that battery memory.

The power profile is at minimum. When I take the cord out so it only runs on the battery, it shuts off. It will not come back on until I plug the cord back in. When I plug it back in, it is still fully charged. I've left it unplugged for 3 days, and then plugged the cord in to turn it on and it is still fully charged.

Funny things. When they are worn out the amount they can hold gets smaller, so it could show fully charged but be no good. You need to get it tested somewhere before you buy a new one, or you could be wasting money on a defunct laptop..But it is most likely the battery.
