Acer Monitor Has a Black Border Around Picture

I got an Acer KA1 KA251Q and I noticed there was a black border around it. I did a bit of research and some people found switching from hdmi to dvi fixed the issue but I still got the black border with dvi.
This is when it's plugged into hdmi.

This is dvi. I tried using NVIDIA control panel to adjust the screen but I couldn't scale the screen past the black border.

That's the edge of the screen. It has a small inner border.

The monitor is advertised as "full hd resolution on a border-less 24.5" screen" and the preview picture doesn't seem to have the inner border or at least not as big

The stock photos are not photos of the actual screen, but an image overlaid on the screen in Photoshop; so it may not match precisely with real life.
