I have an Acer AL1912 monitor. When it is first turned on, the OSD comes up and displays the contrast and brightness controls. The Contrast flashes between red and blue while the Menu: goes between Return and Enter, depending on the color of the contrast bar.
The menu does respond when I press the buttons on the bottom, but all it does is stop blinking until I let go. The power button will not work.
When I first turn it on, I can get the menu to not come up by holding the auto button, but as soon as I release it, the osd comes back up.
Any suggestions?
