Acer Monitor Tilt

I got a great new monitor, 1440p, and it's the Acer G257HU http://www.amazon.com/Acer-G257HU-smidpx-25-Inch-Widescreen/dp/B00QS0AKVK this may sound silly but are all monitors capable of tilting back and forward? This one is tilted forward and I wanted to know if there was some way to tilt it back.

says it can do Tilt Angle: -5° to 15°

Yes but I don't know how. The monitor also seems a bit wobbly in the stand. Do you typically tilt the base or the actual monitor? And is negative tilt backwards or toward you?

It looks like you just push it backward firmly but carefully..

negative tilt will be top of the monitor towards you

typically its the monitor that moves not the base some of them can be pretty stiff

personally rather than push it backwards i would put one hand on the base and pull from behind the bottom of the screen forwards with the other hand

as the pivot point tends to be above halfway up the back of the screen pushing doesnt give as much leverage as pulling the bottom outwards

A bit of force did the trick. I put one hand on the base and pushed it back carefully but forcefully with the other. I realize in the computing world once in a while a little force is all that is needed. It's gorgeous BTW, I never believed them when they said 1440p is that much better than 720p.
