Acer Ms7869 Motherboard not compatibility with graphic cards?

Hello,
I'm trying to upgrade my pc atm which is a acer atc 605 ub10 i3 processor 6bg ram and the intel hd graphics. I found an old asus engt440 gpu with the 16 pci/e slot, when i plugged it in and powered on my pc the screen was blank, i checked all the ports and cables, im worrying now that what video cards are compatibility with my pc, or rather motherboard.

You probably need to go in to BIOS Setup & change the location of the graphics adapter from "on board" to "PCI Express".
Then save & exit (F10).
