Review Acer Nitro 16 Review: Entry-Level Gaming Excellence

Hmmm, I think the title is a little misleading.

And the dreaded "As tested" nomenclature!!Ugghh

The model tested isn't actually that bad. It includes G-sync (not really found in entry level lappies) 16gb ram and a really good CPU and decent panel. At 999 it's worth considering.

But the base model, which is what will most be bought will suffer. I highly doubt it has G-sync, weaker CPU and prob underpowered GPU and 8gbs of ram, will cause stuttering when playing the first game.

For me it's the bloatware to not even look at these brands of computers. Same for Lenovo laptops. And I don't get it, manufacturers must know people hate all this bloatware so why put it on a laptop, desktop or tablet!?

You're still better off finding a previous generation G15 Advantage Edition for only a little more money... 8 core 5900HX or 5980HX, 6800M 12GB GPU (roughly equivalent to a desktop 6700xt), and (even) better battery life.
