Hi guys, so last week I bought acer nitro 5 and I have big problems with overheating
Nitro AN515-52-56ZD (NH.Q3XEX.011) - i5 8300h, gtx 1060 6gb
it is about 45-50 C in normal use but when I start gaming it is constantly 90-100 C, and that is problem because when it hits 95+ my game starts lagging
I have cooling pad under laptop and I tried some solutions like turning off intel turbo boost or just keeping cpu fan at 100% all time but still same result very high temps.
Do anyone has some other solution that I can try or it could be factory mistake?

sry for my bad english but I hope u will understand.

Your system is throttling, would not expect amazing products from acer that delivers preformance they claim.
Let’s see.
There must me fan settings in Bios. But it would not work.
What could help is sitting in air conditioned room.
Playing in lower settings might be helpful.
Playing while plugged in could also help. Battery heat will be eliminated.
Lowering CPU intensive settings in game would help.
It’s a Mobile i5 chip. You should keep that in mind while gaming in Laptop.
Doesn’t matter If it is a factory issue, manufacturing defect. Call them right away get your laptop checked out.
