Dear all,

I want to ask regarding the taskbar flickering issue on my laptop. Before, I didn't see this one, but recently, it shows. Its almost the same with the below image, but no vertical lines. It goes like about 2-5 secs, then back to original.

I don't know if this is because of some of the changes/tweaks I've done:

1. Upgraded from Windows 11 Home SL to Windows 11 Enterprise - Not a clean install, just upgraded.
2. Using TechPowerUp - ThrottleStop - To control thermals, just disabled CPU Turbo.
3. Upgraded from 8GB DDR4 3200 MHz to 32GB DDR4 3200 MHz.

Why did you need to migrate to Enterprise edition of the OS? You might want to run DDU to remove all GPOU drivers(intel, AMD and Nvidia) in Safe Mode to manually install the latest GPU driver sourced from Nvidia's support site.

You could try and perform undervolting on your laptop as a general task. Not related to this thread or topic.

Did you upgrade the BIOS before you upgraded the ram?

Hi, sir. Thank you for the prompt response.

1. Actually, my friend gave me a working Windows 11 key, which we thought, only for Pro version, but then when I applied, it is Enterprise. I will try this DDU.

3. Nope, I am using the latest BIOS found on Acer Laptop.

To add up, this happens when I am not connected to the AC adapter.
